Netflix has officially revealed the runtimes for Stranger Things Season 5 Part 2, giving fans a clearer idea of how the final chapters of the series will unfold. The last phase of the hit sci-fi drama is set to arrive in two drops, with most episodes releasing on Christmas Day, followed by the series finale at the end of the year.
According to the details shared by the creators, Part 2 will include three episodes releasing together on December 25. Episode 5, titled “Shock Jock,” will run for approximately 1 hour and 8 minutes. Episode 6, “Escape From Camazotz,” has a longer runtime of about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Episode 7, “The Bridge,” will be around 1 hour and 6 minutes long.
The eighth and final episode, “The Rightside Up,” will release separately on December 31 and is confirmed to be the longest episode in the history of the series. The finale will run for about 2 hours and 8 minutes, signaling a cinematic conclusion to the story that began in Hawkins nearly a decade ago.
With these extended runtimes, the Duffer Brothers appear to be aiming for an emotional and large-scale ending. Fans can expect high stakes, major character moments, and a detailed wrap-up of the Upside Down storyline as Stranger Things comes to an end.
